I wish I could tell you this will get better on its own.
But I'd be lying.
It doesn't stay the same. It gets worse.
First, it's discomfort — heavy legs, tight ankles, shoes that don't fit.
Then it's pain — a deep, aching throb that doesn't go away. Restless nights. That heavy feeling from the moment you wake up.
Then it's mobility — getting up from a chair takes effort. Walking to the letterbox leaves you winded. You start turning down invitations because you're not sure your legs will hold up.
And the worst part?
It happens so gradually, you don't notice it at first.
One day you just… stop doing things.
The woman who used to walk her grandkids to school… now watches from the window.
The man who used to tend his garden every morning… now pays someone else to do it.
It's not just about swollen legs. It's about who you become when your body won't cooperate.
But here's what most people don't realise:
This isn't inevitable.
Your Second Heart hasn't stopped working permanently. It's just gone quiet.
And with the right approach, you can wake it up again.
